{FanComic AHIT #1} Bedtime

(TL;DR = This was my second take on making a full fledged comic using only Krita. Krita is cool enough for that, but the text tools could be better.)
Also I really like this game, but lets talk about the idea= In the game, when you add the "Seal the Deal DLC", the character Snatcher becomes a "new menu" in the HUB area, reading his book close to the main protagonist's bed. IMO The setup overall just induces you to think she (HatKid/Bowkid, the protagonist you play with) would ask him for a bedtime story at any point, since they are portrayed as "normal children" and he's the "Adult" around. So I started from there, and later added the idea of "where would Bowkid sleep?", since she's the co-op player (optional, but you can also choose her as protagonist), and would balance better the "counter-argument" part of the comic than just being one kid against the villain. Also because she's adorable, I wanted to draw her too. The final point was making the book cover match the game's universe; so almost at the finishing point I remembered the game had this sleeping racoon enemy (in the game you don't pay much attention to the secondary enemies for some reason), and then I redrew the little bear in the book-cover as the racoon. It made the book reference back to the game, not being just a random picture. Extra note: looking back I think I drew Snatcher too angry, he keeps his smile in the game besides the voice acting being pretty much the opposite sometimes, I like to follow the "voice intention" since a fake/ironic smile would be confusing.
